“I have been in the Marine industry for many years and have worked with multiple Dealer Management Systems (or “DMS”) ranging from custom built systems to package/cookie-cutter systems large and small. When we founded Black Label Marine Group LLC, we took our time and researched all the available DMS out there. During the intensive search we came across Winboats among many others. We reached out to the company and was immediately contacted back by Bryan P. He worked around our hectic schedules to provide us answers to any and all questions we had (anyone starting a new business understands how crazy those first few months are). We did several demos, conference calls and many emails back and forth. We narrowed our search down to three top candidates which Winboats was in that mix. Mark on the programming side set us up with a remote server (since we have multiple locations), set up our users, and customized it to fit our needs. Robyn on the accounting side set up our Quickbooks and made sure the integration between the two systems was seamless. Nicole set up all our boat lines with custom templates that make ordering, specing out customer quotes, reordering boats, reviewing options etc is as easy as possible. Since then, it is been a wonderful relationship. Training new staff, making custom edits when needed, and doing anything and everything we need to have a successful dealership. The entire team at Winboats have become part of our Black Label family and we look forward to many years of this wonderful relationship continuing. We have tried other systems and found them very difficult, time consuming to access information and said information not being very accurate. However, with Winboats we can provide quotes for sales and service quickly and accurately. They are designed in a way that makes it easy for the client to understand. All this, combined with their new app for our techs to connect directly, add pictures, notes and parts to specific jobs on a work order is the most efficient tool in our service department. When we started Black Label Marine Group LLC in early 2019, we strived to be the best and to partner ourselves with the best. We knew one of the first things we had to do was pick an awesome DMS system. Some of our criteria was that it must be user-friendly, made specifically for the marine industry, easy to build deals and quote customers, great search and reporting capabilities, be able to operate over multiple locations, have a robust CRM, integrates into QuickBooks, had to completely handle the Service department from parts ordering/receiving/tracking to creating workorders, vendor part integration/upload capability and various other capabilities. So, we did our due diligence, researched the major DMS systems in our industry, ran demos on various systems and in the end, we found that Winboats checks all the boxes and more. At this point we knew Winboats was the tool to help our dealership be successful and grow into a powerhouse.
Bryan and his team worked with us and around our crazy schedules, to get the right agreement in place, get us installed and setup quickly and conducted extensive training for our staff. Which the training didn’t end at that point…just today we scheduled with Bryan for a new team member to get trained in the Service module.
Once we were up and running, the Winboats team stayed right there with us, they quickly became a part of the TeamBLMG Family. Working with everyone on the team is great and they are very open to ideas to tweak the system, requests for new customized reports, and suggestions for future components that will benefit the dealer network. The sales portion of the system is awesome, you build (or they can build) “templates” for your different models of the boat lines you carry, then you use those templates to “build” and order your boats, it lists all the standard and optional features with easy mouse clicks you have a custom boat built and ready to quote. Has easy deal negotiator tools when you are with that customer, beating you up on price, and has an amort calculator to tell them what the approx. down payment is.
I, along with the rest of my team, are very happy that we partnered with Winboats (you feel like it is a partnership, you’re not just another customer). We are very excited about the new features they are working on and look forward to being partners for years to come.

TNT Watersports started in 2005 with two brothers, Andrew and Luke Trantum, selling Malibu boats. At that time we were a 25 boat dealer and had a good 2 years before the market crash in 2008. We survived 2008 and slowly came back starting in 2009 picking up Axis and Nautique boats. Growth was slow and steady and maintained a 40-50 boat market. As we grew we realized the DMS software was nowhere close to meeting our needs. At that time there was not really a DMS program designed for boat dealerships. We knew Bryan Potzner from the Malibu dealer network because he owned a Malibu dealership in Atlanta. He approached us in 2013 and explained that he had developed a DMS system specifically for boat dealerships. After several conversations and demo’s we decided to give it a shot. Of course, with any new programs, there were some bugs to work out and we worked hand in hand with Bryan to improve the system to meet our needs. Once everything was in place it made ordering, receiving, and selling everything much easier. Winboats was able to acquire all the pricing for the lines that we carried, including all the pro shop merchandise. All the pricing was uploaded each year and we were able to receive, sell, and deliver all our products much more easily. Since then Winboats has developed in to an amazing DMS and POS. It seems like every year it gets better and adapts to the changing environment. The technical support is amazing as well. If we have any issue at all we send an email and receive a call within 5 minutes addressing the issue. We are now a 200 boat a year dealership and Winboats has been with us every step of the way.
